      LG PuriCare™ ATOM-U (WU525BS) FAQ

       Quick answers on installation, temperatures, filtration, hygiene, and app control for the LG WU525BS. 

      A.1: The WU525BS is an under-sink built-in water purifier. 

      The main unit is installed below the sink, while only the slim spout stays on the countertop for a cleaner kitchen look. 

      A.2: Yes. The WU525BS is designed for hot, cold, and ambient water. 

      It also comes with preset hot water temperatures of 40°C, 75°C, and 85°C for everyday use. 

      A.3: It uses LG’s All Puri Filter System, a multi-stage filtration setup designed to support cleaner daily drinking water. 

      The product page also highlights reduction of heavy metals, norovirus, and microplastics under stated test conditions. 

      A.4: It includes UV sanitisation inside the faucet for 10 minutes every hour and also supports high-temperature sanitisation for the internal stainless-steel pipes and outlet. 

      For performance figures such as 99.99% germ removal, those are based on stated test conditions.  

      A.5: Yes. The WU525BS supports LG ThinQ™, so you can check the purifier status in real time and manage selected settings from your smartphone. 

      A.6: Installation requires space under the sink for the main unit, plus a 28 mm hole in the sink or countertop for the faucet. 

      LG’s FAQ also notes that extra clearance is needed around the unit for installation.
